Rover Blue™: Lido Blue, a bright summer dive into open water.

Think of a midday Sussex sky above a harbour, the one you'd see through a pair of freshly cleaned windows. The pigment carries a clean cyan pull, enough to feel alive without tipping into turquoise. Up close, it reads as a vivid, slightly cool mid-blue; from across the room, it softens into the steady blue of a clear May morning. There is quiet saturation to it, a colour that holds its shape under scrutiny and does not flatten out.

In morning sun it opens out, brightening into the kind of pale sky-blue that makes a room feel ten degrees cooler. Under lamplight it draws inward, deepening to a denim, inky tone with a slight grey undertow.

It suits kitchens, bathrooms, and north-facing bedrooms that can carry a cooler colour. Pair it with warm oak, unpolished brass, a deep clay terracotta, and a chalky off-white trim.

Crafted the Knuckles way. Water-based, low-VOC, and high-coverage, this interior emulsion is hand-mixed in small batches in our UK workshop. Each tin carries rich pigment loading and a silky matt finish that settles evenly on plaster, lining paper, and primed woodwork.

Coverage is twelve square metres per litre over two coats on a prepared surface. We recommend trying an A6 sample on your wall before committing to a full tin.
