Lemon Glaze™: soft buttered lemon, a quiet breath of morning light.

A pale, creamy yellow with the warmth of softened butter and the faint chalkiness of set meringue. It sits closer to clotted cream than to sharp citrus, with just enough pigment to glow on a sunlit wall without shouting. Think primrose petals seen through muslin, or the first light on a biscuit tin.

By morning it reads almost white, cool and lifted, catching a fresh chalk edge. Afternoon light draws out the butter, while lamplight and evening warmth pull it towards honeyed parchment.

Works handsomely in kitchens, snugs, and north-facing breakfast rooms, lifting low light without turning brash. Pair with Knuckles Brooch on joinery, Plume on ceilings, or warm oak and unbleached linen for a quietly sunny scheme.

Crafted the Knuckles way. Water-based, low-VOC, high-coverage interior emulsion, hand-mixed in small batches here in the UK. Rich pigment gives a silky matt finish that reads deeply and without glare.
