LAMBETH™ INTERIOR EMULSION PAINT

Lambeth™: soft tidal sage, a hush of weathered river green.

The shade sits quietly between moss and mist, a sage softened by just enough blue to read as coastal rather than botanical. Think eucalyptus leaves held against an overcast sky, or the inside of a celadon bowl, or the patina on copper that has weathered three winters of London rain. It is muted without being grey, and green without ever shouting about it.

In morning light it leans crisp and cool, closer to sea glass; by afternoon it mellows into a dustier sage, almost stone. Under lamplight it turns smoky and low, reading as a soft grey-green that holds a room together rather than calling for attention.

It suits a sitting room that wants calm, a kitchen that leans old-school, or a bedroom with linen and old brass. Pair it with chalky off-whites like Foundry, deep tobacco woods, aged brass, and unlacquered copper for contrast; or layer it with Dean Green and Plume for a tonal scheme that feels quietly considered.

Crafted the Knuckles way. Lambeth is a water-based, low-VOC, high-coverage interior emulsion, hand-mixed in small batches in the UK using rich, stable pigments. The finish is a silky matt that reads deeply and without glare, settling into walls with the kind of softness you usually only get from older lime washes.

Coverage is around twelve square metres per litre, and two coats are recommended for even depth. An A6 sample is the kindest way to see how Lambeth shifts through the hours in your own light.
