A shadowed, inky blue with a slate undertone, drawn from the calm of still water at dusk. It sits low and quiet on the wall, reading as grounded rather than bold, with a cool, contemplative pull that steadies a room.

Under daylight, Foundry reveals its softer, slate-flecked side, easing into a composed deep blue that pairs cleanly with white architraves. When lamplight arrives, the colour condenses into a rich, velvety ink, gathering the room into something warmer and quieter.

It suits studies, snugs and panelled bedrooms, and brings gravitas to hallways and dining rooms. Pair with warm off-whites, aged brass, oak flooring, or deep terracotta accents. It also works against unbleached linen, antique rugs and softly polished plaster.

Crafted the Knuckles way. A water-based, low-VOC interior emulsion with a high-coverage formula, hand-mixed in small batches in the UK. A high pigment load gives a silky matt finish with remarkable colour depth.
