Cable Knit sits at the warm end of white, a softened cream with the faintest wash of biscuit and the palest breath of honey. Think the underside of a cream fleece, or the oatmeal tone of undyed Aran wool set by the fire. It holds enough pigment to feel grounded, never chalky or clinical, with a gentle buttery warmth that stops it falling into grey or yellow.

In morning light it reads crisp and airy, almost powdery, drawing out the creamier notes. As the day softens, Cable Knit takes on a parchment glow, warmer and more golden. Under lamplight and candles it turns honeyed and hushed, wrapping a room in the kind of quiet warmth that feels lived-in.

At home in sitting rooms, bedrooms, hallways, and kitchens where you want light without coolness. It sits easily alongside aged oak, unlacquered brass, natural linen, terracotta tile, and soft sage greens. Pair with Bordeaux for a rich traditional scheme, Boston Marrow for a golden hallway, or Beryl Mint for a fresh country kitchen.

Crafted the Knuckles way: a high-pigment, ultra-durable interior emulsion with Class 1 wet scrub resistance and ultra-low VOC content (<1g/l). The chalky flat matt finish echoes fresh plaster, giving walls a soft, powdery depth. Mixed to order in Great Britain, vegan-friendly, and eco-conscious throughout.
