CROSS STITCH™ INTERIOR EMULSION PAINT
Cross Stitch™: a warm rosy pink stitched through with coral softness.
Cross Stitch is a warm rosy pink with a whisper of coral running through it. It sits somewhere between the flush of garden roses at dusk and a scrap of embroidery thread left on a kitchen table, soft without being sugary, saturated without tipping into shock. There is a quiet richness to the tone that feels hand-dyed rather than printed, the kind of pink that carries warmth into a room rather than simply colouring it.
In daylight it lifts and opens out, reading as fresh and clear, almost coral on bright south-facing walls. Once the lamps come on it warms further still, deepening into something closer to a candlelit terracotta-pink, generous and a little louche. It shifts through the day without ever losing its core warmth.
It suits dining rooms, bedrooms, snugs and hallways that want a little heart to them. Pair it with a soft off-white trim for a clean, modern read, or warm cream and unpainted oak for something more lived-in. It sits handsomely against brass fittings, faded kilims, linen curtains and well-worn leather. If you want a second Knuckles colour alongside it, try a deep inky green on joinery or a chalky off-white on ceilings.
Crafted the Knuckles way. Water-based, low-VOC, high-coverage interior emulsion, hand-mixed in small batches here in the UK. A heavy pigment load gives depth you can feel in the room, finished in a silky matt that sits flat on the wall and wipes clean without going shiny.
Coverage is around 12 m² per litre, and we recommend two coats for an even, fully resolved finish. Colour reads differently in every home, so order a sample pot and live with Cross Stitch on your own walls before you commit.
