Centre Court sits in the warm olive family, with a vein of mustard running through the green that keeps it from turning murky. Think the gold-green of bay leaves crushed between fingers, or a waxed canvas shooting jacket softened by a few seasons outdoors.

Morning light lifts the yellow forward, turning walls a low-glowing ochre; by evening the green settles in and the room holds quiet, the way a library does after lunch.

It suits snugs, panelled dining rooms, studies, cloakrooms and boot rooms, where it reads richer by lamplight.
