A dusty coral with enough terracotta in it to stay grounded, Betty™ is Knuckles' most sociable pink. Betty sits between a pressed tea rose and the warm face of a handmade terracotta tile, with a little apricot in the undertone to keep it warm and a grain of brick dust to keep it honest. Within the Knuckles palette it is the shade that pulls a room towards you rather than letting it hold back: warm, lived-in, the colour of geraniums catching late afternoon sun.
In bright daylight Betty reads clean and pink-forward, the soft flush of a cheek after a walk in cold air. As the light softens towards evening, the terracotta undertones come through and the walls deepen into something closer to old rouge velvet or a clay pot left outside in August. Under lamplight it glows honeyed and faintly russet.
